It’s been a while since the last post, my most humble apologies.
Well, that’s about to change –
Stumbled upon this genius soundcloud page a couple of days ago. Find myself coming back for more, just can’t stop listening to Houdinne! The favorite track is, Damn, Amish Engels or International Passport. Kind of hard to choose because every song I find is pretty much amazing.
Ok, this summer has been weird. Not only did the weather kill us with it’s Amazon conditions, we also missed out on ‘The Growlers’ performance at Way Out West. If you didn’t get the chance to see them either, tune in on one of our favourite songs.
This smooth ass song is performed by Darondo who was a funk and soul singer during the 70’s. “Didn’t I” is the perfect tune for any occasion and has become a true favorite of ours. Today he would have been 67 years old. RIP William Daron Pulliam
A couple of weeks ago this lo-fi guru released the compilation album “Controlled Burns: 2007-2010″. The album includes this amazing, dreamy and twisted tune which is a must have for the beach, but hold up – it’s only for the tough guys.
Some time ago, when I was looking through Phonophanatic’s – BOXBEATS VOL. 4, I stumbled upon a artist from Brazil with a steamingly hot track, that oozes sunshine, sweaty beards and ice cream. If this doesn’t put a smile on your face, I don’t know what will.
